Bump, set and spike into a new season with hundreds of summer recreation programs for all ages and abilities.
This summer’s recreation offerings include many exciting ways for residents to get active, learn a new skill or try something new from summer camps, sports leagues, art classes, fitness programs and more. Find your fit and explore what’s on this season at kelowna.ca/recreation .
“The sun is out, and summer has been on everyone’s minds,” says Tom Clark, Recreation Program Supervisor. “Join us this season to learn a new skill, play your favourite sport, keep the kids busy at summer camp or find a new fitness class that works for you and your schedule. There is so much fun to be had during Kelowna’s summers - we’re so excited to get active and enjoy the season with you.”
Summer registration dates and times:
- General programs: June 3 at 7 a.m.
- Adult sports & leagues: June 4 at 7 a.m.
- Aquatic programs: June 5 at 7 a.m.
- Adaptive programs: June 6 at 10 a.m.
Register online , by phone (250-469-8800) or in person at Parkinson Recreation Centre (1800 Parkinson Way). Create an online account by selecting the “New Customer” button at rec.kelowna.ca. Once created, you can add family members to your account through the “My Groups/Family” feature.
