Park & Play

Park & Play is a free, all-ages event that runs weeknights from 5-8 p.m. throughout July and August at various parks throughout Kelowna.

Bring the whole family to Park & Play to enjoy recreational activities like soccer, running parachutes, disc slam, catch, bean bag toss, giant board games, relays, inflatables and more. Plus Parks Alive! will be on site for select days with live musical entertainment.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  
 
These free community events provide opportunities for families, friends and neighbours to interact with one another and promotes active, social interactions, fostering a sense of neighbourhood and community.

Frequently asked questions

Will Park and Play run even on rainy, windy and/or smoky days?

Park & Play runs rain or shine. Events may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions such as poor air quality or thunderstorms. 

What should I bring?

Park & Play is outdoors during the summer, so it's a smart idea to bring sun-smart items like a hat, sunscreen and water!

What kind of activities are available at Park & Play?

Park & Play features activities for all ages and abilities!  There's fun to be had at Park & Play for the friends, families and neighbours. 
Enjoy recreational activities like soccer, ladder ball, running parachutes, spike ball, catch, bean bag toss, bocce, giant board games, relays, inflatables and bouncers. Each event includes a wide variety of activities. 

Please note: inflatables will be made available when weather conditions and staffing allow.
