Park & Play

Park & Play is a free all-ages event that runs weeknights from 5-8 p.m. throughout July and August at various parks throughout Kelowna. Find out when Park & Play is in your neighbourhood in the 2022 summer Park & Play calendar.

Bring the whole family to Park & Play to enjoy recreational activities like soccer, running parachutes, disc slam, catch, bean bag toss, giant board games, relays, inflatables and bouncers, and more. Plus ParksAlive will be on site for select days with musical entertainment! 
 All children must be accompanied by an adult.  
 
These free community events provide opportunities for families, friends and neighbours to interact with one another and promotes active, social interactions, fostering a sense of neighbourhood and community.

Pop-up Park & Play 

Pop-Up Park & Play offers even more opportunities for families to play! We're excited to partner with Childhood Connections who will be joining us to offer activities during Pop-up Park & Play. Check out below where Park & Play will "pop-up" every Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Frequently asked questions

Will Park and Play run even on rainy, windy and/or smoky days?

Park & Play runs rain or shine. Events may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions such as poor air quality or thunderstorms. 

What should I bring?

Park & Play is outdoors during the summer, so it's a smart idea to bring sun-smart items like a hat, sunscreen and water!

What kind of activities are available at Park & Play?

Park & Play features activities for all ages and abilities!  There's fun to be had at Park & Play for the friends, families and neighbours. 
Enjoy recreational activities like soccer, ladder ball, running parachutes, spike ball, catch, bean bag toss, bocce, giant board games, relays, inflatables and bouncers. Each event includes a wide variety of activities. 

Please note: inflatables will be made available when weather conditions and staffing allow.
