Project overview

The North End Sanitary Catchment Realignment project will redirect the sanitary flows within the local catchment from the Guy Street Lift Station to the Brandt’s Creek Lift Station on Ethel St. at Weddell Pl. to balance flow patterns.

Timeline

In 2025 Phase 1 will consist of installation of new sanitary sewer pipe along Ethel Street (between Weddell Pl. and Bay Ave.) as well as along Bay Ave. (between Ethel St. and Jones St.). Pettigrew St. as well as a small section of Crowley Ave. will also have new sanitary sewer installed.
