Celebrate Customer Appreciation Day at PRC on June 13

On Friday, June 13, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Parkinson Recreation Centre will host a day of indoor and outdoor celebrations in honor of Customer Appreciation Day. Enjoy free access to the pool and fitness centre, plus a variety of fun activities, including face painting, snow cones, healthy snacks and beverages, games, and prizes.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about City initiatives and projects such as the redevelopment of Parkinson Recreation Centre, and upcoming events such as Park & Play.

Throughout the month of June, you can also have your say about recreation programs in Kelowna by filling out the 2025 Recreation and Customer Satisfaction Survey. Share your thoughts and experiences with City programs and initiatives for a chance to win a six-month individual membership to Parkinson Recreation Centre. 

“We are always looking to make our programs bigger and better for all ages and abilities,” says Tom Clark, Recreation Program Supervisor. “This annual survey helps us shape how we offer recreational programming for Kelowna residents and ensures we provide what our community is interested in.”

The survey only takes approximately five to seven minutes to complete and can be taken online until June 30. Surveys will also be available in-person at Customer Appreciation Day.
