Raymer Avenue Watermain Renewal - Phase 2
The objective of this project is to upgrade the existing water infrastructure along Raymer Avenue between Ethel Street and Gordon Drive. The existing cast iron watermain, susceptible to costly breaks, will be abandoned in favour of a new PVC main and will eventually tie-in with the utility upgrades that were constructed in conjunction with the Ethel Street ATC project. Residents along Raymer Avenue will also receive a new water service as part of the upgrades.
Phase 2 of this project will include replacement of the watermain between Mappin Court and Ethel Street, which is approximately located under the westbound lane and curb.
As was the case for 2024's Phase 1 (Gordon Drive to Mappin Court), the installation contractor for this work will be the City of Kelowna's construction team.
