Seasonal park and amenity closures begin this week
Public Service Announcement
With the cooler autumn days upon us, some of the City’s parks and park amenities are winding down for the season.
The gates to Kasugai Garden Park will close on Sunday, October 31 and reopen in the spring.
Park washrooms and water fountains will be closed as of Friday, October 15.
Washrooms will remain open at Stuart Park, Gerstmar Park, Boyce-Gyro Park, Rowcliffe Park and City Park during this time. The Queensway Transit Exchange washroom will also remain open throughout the year. Water shutoffs are necessary to prevent pipes from freezing throughout the cold months of the year. All washrooms and water fountains are expected to re-open in early April, weather permitting.
