The Spring Travel Show is coming to the KF Centre for Excellence on Saturday, March 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free event offers chances to discover, plan, and win travel themed prizes while supporting the YLW Scholarship Fund.

"Spring is a great time to travel and explore new destinations," said Sam Samaddar, YLW Chief Executive Officer. " The Spring Travel Show offers Okanagan residents a variety of travel vendors to get expert advice, tips, and information from the best in the industry."

Visitors can meet with travel professionals, YLW staff and other travel-related vendors to learn more about the latest trends, destinations, and services in the travel market. Visitors will also not want to miss their chance to win amazing prizes:

  • Trip for two to Amsterdam courtesy of Edmonton International Airport (YEG)
  • Trip for two on Pacific Coastal
  • Trip for two on Flair
  • Trip for two on Central Mountain Air
  • Trip for two on Air North

Ballots for the prize draws are $5 each or $20 for five tickets and will only be available at the event. All proceeds from this event will benefit the YLW scholarship fund, supporting aviation and aerospace students conducting their studies in the Okanagan.

Free parking will be available at YLW, and shuttles will be provided to transport attendees to the KF Centre for Excellence. Visitors are urged to follow posted signs and staff directions.

Attendees are encouraged to consider other forms of transportation, such as carpooling or public transit. Those who choose an active mode, such as biking, can place their names into a draw to win a free bike tune up (values $100) from Cyclepath
