Parking impacts and intermittent closures on Doyle Ave. start Monday

February 20, 2026

Traffic Advisory

Beginning Monday, Feb. 23, continuing into April, a section of Doyle Ave. (between the traffic circle and Ellis St.) will experience temporary parking and road impacts to accommodate work on the South Art Walk project.

Residents can expect intermittent single-lane alternating traffic and the occasional road closure on Doyle Ave., as required. Access to local businesses will be maintained throughout construction. Signage will be in place in advance of any changes.   Some parking spots in between the traffic circle and Memorial Arena will be affected periodically throughout construction. Residents are encouraged to plan for alternate parking during this time.   Additional impacts to the walkway adjacent to Kasugai Gardens and City Hall parking lot can be expected through the end of July. Residents are asked to watch for signage and plan routes accordingly as construction progresses. Construction will support an outdoor pedestrian walkway, called South Art Walk. This is a southerly extension to the original Art Walk located outside Rotary Centre for the Arts, between the Laurel Packinghouse and the Rotary Arts Common.  Residents can reduce traffic and parking congestion by choosing alternate routes and/or various modes of active transportation, such as biking, walking and carpooling.
