- Engineered Backfill Placement – The Project Team is carefully placing and compacting soils/aggregate that have been specifically chosen in a controlled way, to support the building and associated structures.
- Parking Lot and Sport Court Foundation Preparations – The Project Team is getting the ground ready for the parking lot and sport courts by leveling the surface, installing the drainage systems, and ensuring it's ready to receive the final surfacing.
- Underground Mechanical Piling Installation – A network of underground piping is to be installed for various building functions such as drainage, water supply, electrical, and network infrastructure to ultimately support the functions and operations of the activities in the building.
- Forming and Rebar Installations for Building Footings and Foundations – The Project Team is building molds, usually from wood or steel, that retain the liquid concrete in the proper shape once poured, until it solidifies and hardens. They will next place steel bars (rebar) to shape and strengthen the concrete base that will hold up the entire building.
- Raft Slab Foundation Preparations – The Project Team is preparing for a huge concrete pour in November that will create a thick, solid base (like a raft) to support the building above.
