Design our next “I Voted” election sticker 

Submissions accepted until Monday, September 7, 2026 

Get creative and make (election) history.
This is your chance to shape the sticker thousands of voters will wear during the 2026 election. We’re looking for bold, fresh ideas that feel unmistakably local. Submit your best work for a shot at a $250 prepaid card and serious bragging rights. Three winning designs will become part of Kelowna’s election story, shared across the city and worn with pride.

Size: Must fit a round print area of 1.5 inches in diameter, plus a margin. 

Content: Must include the words “I voted”, must not include the election year, and must not promote a candidate, organization, or political message. 

Originality: Artwork must be original, not generated by artificial intelligence (AI), and not infringing on copyrights or trademarks. 

File Format: Print‑ready or high‑quality scanned PDF, maximum 5MB. 

A design template is available for optional use.

Contest Period 
Sticker designs will be accepted online until Monday, September 7, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PST. 

Agreement to Rules 
By entering, contestants agree to follow all contest rules and confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements. Contestants also accept that all decisions made by the City of Kelowna regarding this contest are final. 

Eligibility 
This contest is open to all residents of Kelowna, including City staff and their families. Proof of residency is required when collecting the prize. Contestants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to enter. 

How to Enter 
Submit your design using the online submission form. One submission per person. Entries must meet all contest requirements to be eligible. Incomplete entries or entries that do not follow the rules may be disqualified at the City’s discretion. 

Design Selection 
Winning designs will be chosen by a three-member selection committee of City staff. The committee will be looking for original artwork that captures the spirit of the City of Kelowna. Entries may be hand-drawn, digitally designed, photographic, or use mixed media. The design submission must be a PDF file under 5MB. 

Prize 
The creators of the three winning sticker designs will each receive a $250 prepaid credit card. Prizes must be collected in person at City Hall during regular business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.). 

Winner Announcement & Notification 
Three (3) winners will be announced on September 22 through the City's Facebook and Instagram channels and City Views newsletter. Winners will be notified by email in advance and asked to provide a photo for publicity. The City is not responsible for notification issues caused by spam filters, incorrect contact information, or other technical problems. If a winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or does not claim the prize within four weeks of being contacted, the prize may be forfeited. 

Publicity 
By entering, contestants grant the City of Kelowna permission to use their name and photo for publicity. Contestants under 18 require parental or guardian consent.

Rutland Transit Exchange Mural: Call for artists

The Rutland Transit Exchange has been revitalized—and now it’s your chance to be part of it. 

The City is seeking one artist to design artwork for 6 mural panels at the site. The selected artist will create a piece that reflects and celebrates Rutland’s unique story, from its agricultural roots to today’s vibrant, diverse community. Themes may include orchards, irrigation, farm life, harvest seasons, community gatherings and the area’s growth over time. 

  • Location: Rutland Transit Exchange, located at Shephard Road and Asher Road 
  • Payment: $5,500 including all aspects of creation. 
  • Application Deadline: CLOSED Sunday, June 14, 2026 by 3:00pm
