Partnering with MediaSmarts: Building Digital Literacy Together

We’re proud to partner with MediaSmarts, Canada’s leading non-profit organization for digital media literacy. Together, we’re working to empower residents of all ages to engage with digital media safely, critically, and confidently.

Through this partnership, Kelowna supports initiatives like:

  • Media Literacy Week and Digital Citizen Day
  • Access to free educational resources on topics like online safety, misinformation, privacy, and responsible digital citizenship
  • Community workshops and learning events tailored to youth, families, and seniors

This collaboration reflects our commitment to inclusive digital transformation—ensuring everyone in Kelowna has the tools and knowledge to thrive in a connected world.
