K.L.O Road single lane alternating traffic

Traffic Advisory

Beginning Monday, July 21, for approximately four days, K.L.O Road will be reduced to single lane alternating traffic between Como Road and Leader Road from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

Motorists, cyclists and pedestrians can expect delays and may wish to choose other routes when possible. 

Following the lane reduction, Como Road will be closed between Polo Road and K.L.O Road for approximately five days. A detour will be in place via Leader Road 

This work is part of the K.L.O. Road Bridge Replacement project that will oversee the replacement of the K.L.O. bridge, improvements to the surrounding area and the installation of a roundabout to help improve traffic flow, increase intersection safety and support active transportation options ensuring a safe and reliable connection to Southeast Kelowna.  

Travelers are asked to abide by safety personnel instructions, posted construction signage and fencing to ensure everyone’s safety while commuting through the area.
