On Thursday, May 28, from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Parkinson Recreation Centre (PRC) will host a day of celebrations for Customer Appreciation Day. Kelowna residents are invited to come out and enjoy family friendly activities, including face painting, snow cones, healthy snacks and beverages, games and prizes. There will also be free access to PRC spaces including the fitness centre.
Event attendees will also have a first-hand opportunity to learn more about City projects such as the Building a Stronger Kelowna initiative – including the Redevelopment of Parkinson Recreation Centre and new all-ages Activity Centres in Rutland, Glenmore and Mission – and upcoming summer events such as Park & Play.
From May 21 to June 22, you can also share your feedback about recreation in Kelowna by filling out the 2026 Recreation and Customer Satisfaction survey. Share your thoughts and experiences about City programs, memberships and initiatives for a chance to win a three-month individual membership to Parkinson Recreation Centre.
“We are always looking at ways to adapt and improve our programs to suit all ages and abilities,” says Tom Clark, Recreation Program Supervisor. “Our annual survey helps us shape the recreational programming we offer Kelowna residents and ensures that what we provide serves the community’s best interests.”
The survey only takes about five minutes to complete and can be taken online until June 22. Find the latest information about summer programs and recreation and share your thoughts in the Recreation Customer Satisfaction survey at kelowna.ca/prc.
