Kelowna Folk Roots Music Society
THE FUGITIVES
From East Vancouver, the masterful, all-acoustic, quartet, The Fugitives, make their first appearance at the Kelowna Folk Roots Music Society, June 20. With a self-titled new recording released in April, which leans lyrically on the exquisite Canadian landscape, and naturally enough, travel, they make their way to the Okanagan with all the marvelous momentum, flair, and confidence fashioned from two decades performing together. Brendan McLeod (guitar and vocals), Christopher Suen (banjo and vocals), Carly Frey (fiddle and vocals), and Adrian Glynn (guitar and vocals) draw a repertoire from nine consistently, compelling discs critically acknowledged with multiple nominations from the Juno and Canadian Folk Music Awards.
