After a two-year hiatus, the City of Kelowna’s signature event, Kelowna Made, is back at City Park from August 15th to 17th. The all-ages community celebration was originally founded in 2022 by volunteers, with support from the City.

Event features

This year’s festivities promise something for everyone. From Shooting Star Amusement rides and multicultural performances to interactive science workshops and Bark in the Park, the event is designed to bring families, friends, and neighbours together.

Along with the fair, there will be beach volleyball, cornhole, and three-on-three basketball tournaments and a large number of family-oriented hands-on activities and games including birdhouse building, Zorb ball racing and interactive museum exhibits.

An artisan market and plenty of food trucks will also be on site as well.

A highlight of the weekend will be a performance by the multi-platinum singer-songwriter Andrew Allen on the Valley First Main Stage, adding a musical spark to the celebration.

Behind the scenes

The City’s events team has worked tirelessly to ensure the event is inclusive and engaging.

“Kelowna Made was created by locals, for locals,” says Craig Campbell, Community Development Coordinator. “It’s more than just an event—it’s a reflection of our community’s creativity, diversity, and commitment to connection.”

See you there!

The event runs from 3pm to 9pm on Friday, August 15th, 11am to 9pm on Saturday August 16th, and 11 am to 3pm Sunday, August 17th.

While the weekend unfolds, attendees are reminded of parking changes at City Park, with limited or no parking available from August 12th-17th. Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and check the Kelowna Made website for full event details.

Kelowna Made is more than just a festival, it’s a testament to what can happen when community comes together with heart and purpose.
