Kelowna HOOPFEST basketball festival is coming to Kelowna June 5 - 7. The weekend event will feature a headline matchup between the Vancouver Bandits and the Saskatoon Mamba at Prospera Place on Saturday, June 6 at 6 p.m. in the first Canadian Elite Basketball League regular season game ever played in the Okanagan.

Beyond the headline matchup, the weekend includes a youth tournament featuring more than 90 teams from across B.C., along with clinics, fan activities and an outdoor streetball event across multiple venues in the city.

“Kelowna is excited to welcome the Vancouver Bandits and the Canadian Elite Basketball League to Prospera Place for the first professional basketball game of its kind in our city,” said Mayor Tom Dyas. “Kelowna HOOPFEST brings together youth, families, athletes, and fans for a full weekend that celebrates the growth of basketball in our community while showcasing Kelowna as premier event-hosting city. It is an opportunity to bring people together, activate our downtown, and highlight the positive impact sport and community events have in Kelowna.”
