Temporary closure of Doyle Ave. between Water St. and Ellis St.

Traffic Advisory

Beginning Monday, March 30, a portion of Doyle Ave. will be closed between Water St. and Ellis St. for approximately three weeks as work continues on the South Art Walk. A detour will be in place via Bernard Ave. and Cawston Ave.

Access will remain open for the Kelowna Community Theatre, Kelowna Memorial Arena and businesses at 460 Doyle Ave.

Street parking on Doyle Ave. within the work zone will be unavailable, along with portions of the City Hall parking lot. Alternating traffic will be supported for vehicles entering and exiting the City Hall parking lot, as the designated exit will be temporarily closed.

Motorists, cyclists and pedestrians are encouraged to use the detours in place and may wish to choose other routes when possible.

Once complete, the South Art Walk will be part of a larger series of outdoor spaces designed to support culture and entertainment, enhancing the downtown experience for residents and the local workforce.

Please abide by safety personnel instructions, posted construction signage and fencing to ensure everyone’s safety while commuting through the area.
