Highlights from March 9 Council meeting
Mountain Ave. rezoning for townhouse development
Council did not support a staff recommendation to rezone 1225 Mountain Avenue from Infill Housing to Townhouse Housing.
Real estate delegation authority
Council approved a bylaw amendment that will allow City staff to approve land purchases and sales, up to maximum fair market value of $250,000. This would address most minor transactions tied to transportation and utility projects already included in Council’s approved 10-Year Capital Plan. Any purchases made under this authority must also stay within Council’s approved annual budget.
