June 29, 2026

News Release

Hurry, property taxes are due Thursday, July 2.

To avoid the non‑discretionary 10% late payment penalty, be sure to claim your BC Home Owner Grant (if eligible) and pay your property taxes before the deadline.

With City Hall closed on July 1 for Canada Day, property owners are encouraged to pay early and allow time for their bank to process payments.

Ways to pay

There are several convenient payment options:

  • Online banking
  • Telephone banking
  • In person at your bank
  • Property Account at billing.kelowna.ca
  • Cheque drop box at City Hall
  • In person at City Hall (be mindful of lineups and the holiday closure)

Paying by credit card? A 2.8% processing fee will apply.
