Construction to start on next Phase of Bertram Active Transportation Corridor
Traffic Advisory
Starting June 25, for approximately one month, Bertram Street between Doyle Avenue and Cawston Avenue will be closed to traffic, so crews can continue working on the Bertram Active Transportation Corridor (ATC) in downtown Kelowna.
Pedestrian access will remain open. The project is anticipated to be completed by fall 2026.
Once complete, the Bertram ATC will connect the Sutherland and Cawston Active Transportation Corridors with a protected bike path designed to improve safety and comfort for people walking and cycling. To learn more about this project, visit getinvolved.kelowna.ca/bertramcorridor.
Please follow directions from traffic control personnel, posted signage and fencing to help keep everyone safe while travelling through the area.
The City of Kelowna and onsite crews thank residents and businesses for their patience and apologize for any inconvenience during construction.
