Burtch Rd. closure for extension construction

Traffic Advisory

Beginning Wednesday, March 11 for approximately seven months, Burtch Rd. will be closed north and south of the Byrns Rd. and Guisachan Rd. roundabout, between Denver Rd. and the Balmoral Strata to support construction of the Burtch Rd. extension. Traffic along Guisachan Rd. and Byrns Rd. will remain open between Gordon Dr. and Benvoulin Rd.

Motorists, cyclists and pedestrians are encouraged to use alternative routes and may wish to choose other routes when possible. The project includes two travel lanes, a left-turn lane, protected bike lanes, sidewalks, street trees, new crosswalks, intersection and roundabout improvements and a new traffic signal at K.L.O. Rd., all while protecting and mitigating impacts on natural areas.

Please abide by safety personnel instructions, posted construction signage and fencing to ensure everyone’s safety while commuting through the area.
