Weddell to Clement Transmission Main
This project is a continuation of the Royal View Transmission main project completed in 2025/2026 in which a large diameter potable water transmission main will be installed between the Ethel/Weddell intersection and the Clement/Clifton intersection, tying in with existing water infrastructure. The objective of this project is to continue with the required connection of the Knox Reservoir and the Dilworth Reservoir with a dedicated transmission main, enhancing the resilience of potable drinking water and fire protection to the central Kelowna area.
Design and construction of the project will be coordinated with other local area projects.
An oil-grit separator (OGS) will also be installed at the Gordon/Weddell intersection as part of this project to clean the piped stormwater run-off prior to it entering into the adjacent Brandt's Creek.
