The Poplar Point UV Water Treatment Renewal Program aims to expand the UV disinfection system through the installation of a third UV train and renewal of aging electrical and control infrastructure. This upgrade is required to meet increasing water demand, maintain regulatory compliance with Interior Health’s 4-3-2-1-0 policy, and ensure reliable UV disinfection performance under both normal and elevated turbidity conditions.
