The City has received feedback from Loseth Community residents regarding safety concerns along the Loseth Dr corridor, north of Highway 33. In response, we conducted spot reviews and implemented minor improvements in accordance with Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) guidelines and City bylaws. These changes include parking restrictions to improve sightlines at intersections and centerline painting to better define the roadway.

As development in the area continues, traffic conditions continue to evolve. This led us to undertake a more comprehensive study of Loseth Dr, which assessed current and future conditions, identified potential issues and constraints, and proposed appropriate mitigation measures where warranted.

The corridor study is now complete and underwent an internal review to evaluate trade-offs, feasibility, and support for various options. Concept designs are now being reviewed to gather initial feedback and finalize the design direction. We expect to complete this step by the end of Q2 2025.
