Lawrence Avenue & Richmond Street Crosswalk

The Lawrence Avenue & Richmond Street Crosswalk project is located in Kelowna's Core Area. Planned upgrades include installing a new crosswalk with zebra markings and signage, as well as improving curb letdowns.

This initiative is part of the City’s ongoing investment to achieve the goals outlined in the Transportation Master Plan (TMP), Official Community Plan (OCP), Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan (PBMP), and other guiding documents. Enhancing pedestrian safety and comfort supports the City’s long-term vision of creating an inclusive transportation network, protecting the environment, promoting community health, and supporting active transportation as a travel mode.
