Lakeshore Sanitary Trunk and Road Improvements (Lakeshore 5 - Swordy to Cook)

Sanitary trunk main capacity upgrades are planned from Swordy Rd to Cook Road to accommodate growth in the City.

Road improvements are also planned with the utility project and include:

-Centre turn lane from Swordy Rd to Bechard Rd to accommodate development along the east side of Lakeshore.
-Sidewalk curb and buffered bike lane from Swordy Rd to Barrera Rd along the east side of Lakeshore.
-Extending the Lakeshore Rd Multi Use Path (MUP) from Barrera Rd to connect to the MUP on the south end of the park. 
-Coordination with a developer delivered roundabout at the "Ledge on Lakeshore" site.

The project is in a design and land acquisition stage with construction tentatively planned for 2027/28.
