Groves Avenue Sidewalk

The Groves Avenue Sidewalk project is located in Kelowna's Pandosy Urban Centre. Planned upgrades include installing a sidewalk to close the gap between Abbott Street and Pandosy Street on the north side of Groves Avenue. 

Once completed, this connection will provide a continuous sidewalk link between the Abbott Street Active Transportation Corridor, high-density residential, the Pandosy commercial district, and nearby transit stops.

This initiative is part of the City’s ongoing investment to achieve the goals outlined in the Transportation Master Plan (TMP), Official Community Plan (OCP), Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan (PBMP), and other guiding documents. Enhancing pedestrian safety and comfort supports the City’s long-term vision of creating an inclusive transportation network, protecting the environment, promoting community health, and supporting active transportation as a travel mode.
