Cawston Avenue & Water Street Crosswalk

The Cawston Avenue & Water Street Crosswalk project is located in Kelowna's Downtown Urban Centre. Planned upgrades include installing pedestrian-actuated flashing beacons at the existing crosswalks, along with other minor improvements.

This initiative is part of the City’s ongoing investment to achieve the goals outlined in the Transportation Master Plan (TMP), Official Community Plan (OCP), Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan (PBMP), and other guiding documents. Enhancing pedestrian safety and comfort supports the City’s long-term vision of creating an inclusive transportation network, protecting the environment, promoting community health, and supporting active transportation as a travel mode.
