Paving work on Gordon Dr. and Lexington Dr.
Traffic Advisory
Starting Sunday, July 19 to Wednesday July 29, Gordon Dr. and Lexington Dr. will be intermittently impacted for paving, weather permitting. This work is part of the City’s road renewal program, which includes adjustment and/or replacement of manhole and water valves along with bike lane improvements where possible.
Road impacts:
- Gordon Dr. (between Cook Rd. and Lexington Dr.) will be reduced to single lane traffic during the day. The road will close for night work from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. with detours in place via Cook Rd., Lakeshore Rd. and Lexington Dr.
- Lexington Dr. (between Lakeshore Rd. and Gordon Dr.) will be closed, with access limited to local residents only.
The road renewal program extends the life of municipal roads, reduces long-term maintenance costs and provides a smoother, safer experience for people driving and cycling in Kelowna.
