Opening acts unveiled for Touchdown Kelowna’s headline concerts

With six weeks to go until Touchdown Kelowna kicks-off the BC Lions’ historic visit to Kelowna, the opening acts for the festival’s two headline concerts have been unveiled. Celebrated hometown talent, Under the Rocks and Jese Lawrence have been announced as special guest and openers for two unforgettable nights of live music on Kelowna’s waterfront as part of the Touchdown Kelowna Festival.
Under the Rocks, the Kelowna-based bluegrass powerhouse known for rich harmonies, joyful energy, and a feel-good sound, will take the stage ahead of Alan Doyle at the Kickoff Concert on June 26. And Jese Lawrence, an emerging Okanagan alt-country artist blending raw storytelling with modern Americana, will take the stage ahead of The Road Hammers for the Boots on the Beach Concert on July 3.
Tickets are now on sale for all three major events taking place as part of Touchdown Kelowna:
- Kickoff Concert featuring Alan Doyle, presented by BCLC, on June 26
- Flip Flop Gala on June 29
- Boots on the Beach Concert featuring The Road Hammers, presented by Leavitt Machinery on July 3
Fans purchasing tickets to both the Kick Off Concert and Boots on the Beach Concert get a discounted bundle rate automatically applied at check-out.
Apart from these ticketed events, Touchdown Kelowna Festival will transform Kelowna’s Waterfront Park into a festival hub from June 27 to July 4. With free daily performances by local up-and-comers, games and crafts stations, food truck alley, to all sorts of family and fun activities, Touchdown Kelowna Fan Fest presented by Telus will be the place for fans to come together and celebrate.
