2026 Accessibility Committee and Plan Update
Council adopted the annual progress report for accessibility related initiatives under the Accessibility Plan and heard updates from the Accessibility Advisory Committee. The Accessibility Plan is organized around general accessibility, built environment, transportation, programs and services, information and communication, and employment.
Municipal and Regional District Tax Renewal and Tourism Kelowna Service Agreement
Council approved entering into a five-year service agreement with Tourism Kelowna to deliver tourism services, with an option to renew for an additional five years. Council also endorsed submitting an application to renew the Municipal and Regional District Tax at three percent.
Temporary DCC Relief
Council received a report on temporary Development Cost Charge relief and advanced amendments to the Development Cost Charge Bylaw for a two-year period. The bylaw will be sent to the Province for review and approval before final adoption.
