Help shape Kelowna’s next Cultural Plan: 2027 & Beyond
Public Engagement
We’re creating a new Cultural Plan for 2027 and beyond, and we’re putting community at the centre. This plan will reflect Kelowna’s values, creativity, and diversity and will build on the successes and learnings from the 2020-2025 Cultural Plan. It will guide how we support arts and culture across the city for years to come and aligns with the long-term vision of Kelowna's cultural development.
Residents can get involved and complete the survey to share thoughts, priorities and experiences until November 17. In addition to the survey, participants can also leave a story, idea or photo to help us determine what kinds of arts, culture or heritage opportunities are desired in Kelowna.
"The results of this survey will help us evaluate what parts of the Cultural Plan need updating to respond to new challenges and our changing landscape in the arts and culture community," said Christine McWillis, Cultural Services Manager. "Kelowna has grown a lot since the 2020-2025 plan was developed, and we’re excited to see what the future brings. We encourage all residents to participate through our online public engagement tools, especially those with a keen interest or investment in the creative sector."
