Final call for feedback! Don’t wait to have your say on park concepts

The City of Kelowna is seeking your feedback on the concept designs for Casorso Park—a brand-new community green space—and proposed improvements to Barlee and Walrod Parks. Barlee Park will more than double in size, Casorso Park will transform a lot adjacent to Casorso Elementary into a vibrant community hub, and Walrod Park is being expanded and revitalized.

Parks are vital to our community’s social and physical well-being, and foster a sense of belonging. Public input helps determine which features and amenities should be prioritized in these parks.

The three projects are part of a larger initiative, with nine bundled parks being planned to enhance neighborhoods, and enrich the quality of life for residents. Planning, designing, and building several together helps make community engagement, design, and procurement more efficient.

Public feedback will be considered alongside best practice, detailed technical analysis, financial feasibility, and existing policies and will influence the final designs ahead of construction.
