Candidate withdrawal deadline

October is election time.  

4 p.m. today, September 18, is the deadline for candidates to withdraw their nomination for the 2026 General Local Election. 

To withdraw, you can provide written notice: 

• by email to [email protected], or 
• by dropping off to the Office of the City Clerk, 2nd floor, City Hall, 1435 Water Street.
