Brighton Rd to Seaford Rd Linear Stormwater Renewal

The Brighton Rd–Seaford Rd hillside neighborhood, subdivided in the mid-1970s, has a stormwater system that conveys both rainwater and a hard-water spring. Over time, mineral deposits from the spring have clogged the storm mains, causing repeated failures and flooding. This purpose of this multi-year project is to inspect the system with CCTV, develop a renewal plan, and replace the clogged/damaged mains with PVC pipe. Design is scheduled to be completed in 2026 and construction will commence in 2027.
CCTV was completed in early 2026 and the pipes scheduled for replacement can be seen on the image below.
