Design Kelowna’s next “I Voted” election sticker

July 16, 2026

News Release

Kelowna’s municipal election is coming up this October, and residents are invited to help design something voters will be proud to wear: the City’s next “I Voted” sticker.

The City of Kelowna is calling on creatives of all ages — students, artists, doodlers and designers — to submit original sticker designs that will be handed out at voting locations during the 2026 municipal election. Three winning designs will be chosen and worn by thousands of voters across the city, turning election day into a shared moment of civic pride.

“Voting shapes the future of our city,” says Michael Jud, Chief Election Officer. “Designing the ‘I Voted’ sticker lets people be part of that moment and help encourage others to take part too.”

The contest is open to all Kelowna residents. Designs must include the words ‘I Voted,’ be non‑partisan and family‑friendly, and reflect the spirit of the community. Three artists will receive a $250 prize each, plus the kind of bragging rights that come with seeing your work all over voting places across Kelowna.
