A reminder to get inspired: limited tickets remaining to the Inspired City Summit
The Inspired City Summit returns in just over one week and tickets are still on sale. The conference returns Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Delta Grand Conference Centre and brings together community leaders, nonprofit professionals, staff, board members and changemakers from across the region for a full day of learning, collaboration, and connection, with this year’s theme focused on impact.
City of Kelowna staff, knowledgeable local presenters, and our generous event sponsors, Dante Group, Valley First, Central Okanagan Foundation, and MNP, are excited to welcome attendees from across the BC interior to explore the 2026 program which features 15 unique breakout sessions offering participants the opportunity to choose sessions aligned with their interests and organizational priorities.
A variety of learning formats will be used throughout the day, including panel discussions, presentations, and circle talks, creating space for both knowledge sharing and facilitated discussion. Sessions are designed to provide practical insights, tools and perspectives that attendees can apply directly to their work.
“In addition to the learning program, the Inspired City Summit places a strong emphasis on relationship building. Dedicated networking opportunities are woven throughout the conference to support collaboration, strengthen partnerships and encourage meaningful connections across the sector,” says Sara Thirnbeck, Community Development Coordinator.
These opportunities are intended to help participants connect with peers, share experiences, and explore ways to work together to address shared challenges. One of these opportunities is the pre-conference Friday mixer called the Summit Social which has individual tickets available.
The Inspired City Summit takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Regular registration is open. Learn more about the program and register at kelowna.ca/inspiredcitysummit.
