1450 Union Road Sanitary Repair

The sanitary main running through 1450 Union Road has experienced significant ponding for some time due to settlement of the pipe. The reason for the settlement is unknown and the City of Kelowna's Operations team frequently flushes the line to maintain service. This project will expose, replace, and re-bed the pipe in this area. While the pipe is exposed, the cause of the settlement will also be investigated so that appropriate measures can be implemented to reduce the likelihood of it occurring again in the future.

The pipe services homes to the north in the Wilden area, which continues to expand. This work is a high priority to protect residents and properties along Union Road, and to maintain reliable service for the Wilden neighbourhood and future development in the area.
