Family Day: free activities and holiday hours

With the Family Day long weekend approaching, the City of Kelowna reminds residents and businesses that City Hall will be closed on Monday, February 16 for the statutory holiday. Residents can access more than 100 services online anytime at kelowna.ca/onlineservices.

Family Day activities

Celebrate with free, family-friendly fun at MNP Place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Activities include Park & Play bouncy castle, active games and try-it sports scavenger hunt, and ice skating (bring your own helmet). Admission is free, and donations to Central Okanagan Search & Rescue are gratefully accepted. Learn more at kelowna.ca/calendar.

Facility hours on Family Day

Parkinson Recreation Centre open holiday hours: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Glenmore Landfill open regular hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.
Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery administration office: closed
Cemetery gates open regular winter hours: 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
