Frost Road & Steele Road Crosswalk

The Frost Road & Steele Road Crosswalk project is located in Kelowna's South Gordon Village Centre. Planned upgrades include installing a second crosswalk with pedestrian-actuated flashing beacons on the north leg of the intersection.

This initiative is part of the City’s ongoing investment to achieve the goals outlined in the Transportation Master Plan (TMP), Official Community Plan (OCP), Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan (PBMP), and other guiding documents. Enhancing pedestrian safety and comfort supports the City’s long-term vision of creating an inclusive transportation network, protecting the environment, promoting community health, and supporting active transportation as a travel mode.
