Springfield at Rutland Rd Roundabout
The City of Kelowna is investing to expand transportation options and improve safety by constructing a roundabout at the Rutland Rd and Springfield Rd intersection.
The roundabout will provide easier access to the area and improve safety for vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians. The project will also bring improvements to the neighborhood including lighting, bike lanes, and upgrades to storm water infrastructure. Scope also includes removal of the traffic signal at Neptune Rd. as the new roundabout will include pedestrian crossings and allow Neptune area drivers the ability to head west during peak traffic periods by using the roundabout.
The project began construction in March 2026 and be complete by early June 2026.
