City will refund safety forum tickets - event now free

The City has heard concerns from local businesses about the fee to attend the Community Safety Business Forum on January 27. In response to this feedback, the event will now be free.

Anyone who already purchased a ticket will receive a refund and a new free ticket. The Community Safety Business Forum will take place on January 27 at the Kelowna Community Theatre.

This event is intended for businesses that have been directly affected by crime and social disorder. It will include presentations, a fireside chat, a Q&A session, and activities where participants can help identify which potential solutions would make the biggest difference for business owners and operators.

A limited number of tickets are still available and can be reserved at Community Safety Business Forum | The Box Office

This forum is one part of a larger conversation about community safety. A broader public engagement opportunity will open on getinvolved.kelowna.ca starting January 27, giving all residents a chance to share their input.
