Audit Committee

Audit Committee members are appointed by the Mayor to review the City’s financial statements prior to their submission to City Council and provide oversight to the collective bargaining and management exempt policy processes.

The Audit Committee reinforces the principle that the administrative function of the City is accountable to the legislative arm of the City, and in turn the legislative arm is accountable to the taxpayers of Kelowna.
