Located in the city centre on Water Street next to the Grand Hotel, Waterfront Park is equipped with a concession stand and washroom facilities. Winding along the lakeshore, this park has a broad boardwalk that meanders along the waters edge all the way to City Park. Perfectly landscaped gardens, public art and plenty of city views await.
Partial Closure: Rockin’ the Beach
On Saturday, July 14, Rockin’ the Beach will take place, featuring classic rock tribute music from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in on the Island Stage in Waterfront Park. To accommodate the event, Waterfront Park including the lakefront promenade and the south end of Tugboat Beach will be closed to the public from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The north end of Tugboat Beach will be accessible through Rotary Marsh Park, 1050 sunset drive.
Load in will begin on Saturday, July 14 starting at 9 a.m. through Rotary Marsh Park, where the public can expect an increase of activity along the path and possible restrictions.
