GlenGrow Mulch
We make GlenGrow Mulch from the same material and through the same process as our certified-organic GlenGrow compost. The only difference is that the mulch consists of coarser, woody material measuring three-quarters of an inch or larger.
The compost process transforms lawn trimmings, prunings and branches received from Central Okanagan residents and landscaping companies into these soil-rejuvenating products. GlenGrow Mulch can be used as a decorative top dressing in your flower beds, gardens, tree wells, and shrub beds. Its coarseness makes it more resistant to wind erosion, which means it will provide a longer-lasting decorative ground cover compared to compost products.

Where to buy & availability
You can purchase GlenGrow Mulch at the Glenmore Landfill in retail amounts (seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and wholesale amounts (Monday to Friday: 8-10 a.m., 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 1-3 p.m.).
GlenGrow Mulch costs $15 per yard.
Less than 100 cubic metres of Glenmore Mulch should be applied to a single property in one year, and application must be done in accordance with good agronomic practices. More than 100 cubic metres can be used as a soil conditioner or ground cover in a year if applied on land used for forestry.
