Indoor and outdoor public skating is closed for the season. We look forward to seeing you again in late fall 2026!
Skating rates for Memorial, Rutland & MNP Place Arenas

Taxes are included in all above prices. Prices are in effect as of September 1, 2025.
Punch Cards are non-refundable and valid for two years from date of purchase.
Please note: only general admission rates are available when booking a timeslot for skating online. To pay alternative rates for skating (children’s fee, or preschool fee) please call 250-469-8800 in advance and we'll be happy to assist you. Drop-in payments (cash only) will also be accepted on-site. Those booking online are required to bring a copy of their receipt (digital or paper) for admission.

MNP Place skate rental fees

- Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to skate time
- Circular skating only
- Skates are required on the ice
- Boots are not permitted on the ice
- Helmets are strongly recommended
- No food or drinks on ice
- Aggressive skating is not permitted
- Playing games (e.g., tag) is not permitted
- Hockey sticks and pucks are not permitted
- Carrying infants and children is not permitted while on the ice
- Strollers are permitted, however helmets are required for both the patron pushing the stroller and the child in the stroller
- Sleds and chairs are not permitted on the ice
- Wheelchairs are permitted, however helmets are required for both the person in the wheelchair and the person pushing. Those pushing wheelchairs must have skates
- Children using a push bar/EZ bar are required to wear a helmet
- Skating backwards is only permitted in designated areas and is to be determined by skate patrol staff
- Sitting in player’s benches and in penalty boxes is not permitted
- Sitting on benches during ice cleaning is not permitted
How do I register for public skate?
Public skating registration can be done in advance online (during skating season).

Can I register for an entire season?
You can register for an entire weekly skating season instead of paying a drop-in fee each time. Alternatively, you can register online for single sessions or pay by drop-in. Registration for the whole season is available for the following skate types:
- Senior Skates
- Parent & Tot skates

Are there skate rentals available?
During public skate season, skate rentals are available at both Rutland Arena and MNP Place. There are no skate rentals available at Memorial Arena.

- For MNP Place skate rental inquiries, call 250-764-6288.
Please note that helmets are not available at MNP Place. Skate patrol is on-site at Memorial Arena.
Are push bars/EZ bars available?
Yes, there is limited availability of push bars/EZ bars on site to assist children and new skaters.
There are currently no cancelled public skate dates.
There are currently no upcoming free public skate dates.
