Kasugai Gardens
Looking for a quiet space to unwind downtown? Take a step away from the hustle and bustle and into Kasugai Garden Park - one of the most unique parks in Kelowna.
The garden was completed in 1987 to demonstrate the friendship and union between Kelowna and its sister city in Kasugai, Japan. The park features traditional elements notable in Japanese gardens, such as stone lanterns, pine trees, waterfalls and a pond stocked with Koi. It is a beautiful integration of stone, pathways, plants and water.
Kasugai Gardens is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Throughout the summer months the gardens will be open until 8 p.m.
The park closes in the winter months starting in later October.
How to get there: The site is located within a walled enclosure and is not obvious from adjacent streets. It is located east of Kelowna City Hall, near the Queensway Transit Exchange.
