The 2026 Memorial Cup Presented by Kubota is here!

This spring, Prospera Place is one again hosting one of Canada’s premier hockey events the Memorial Cup, for the first time since 2004! For ten thrilling days, top teams from the Canadian Hockey League will battle it out in Kelowna, delivering fast-paced action, community pride, and unforgettable experiences.

As key partners, the City of Kelowna and Tourism Kelowna have played an important role in bringing the 2026 Memorial Cup to the region, helping deliver a world-class event that will showcase the community on a national stage. With action in the arena and a week of festivities across the city, the tournament is expected to generate more than $22.5 million in economic impact, energizing downtown, supporting local businesses, and bringing the community together to celebrate one of Canada’s most storied hockey traditions.

Kids' Memorial Cup Shoot Out Challenge at Orchard Park
Presented by Primaris | Saturday, May 16 | 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bring the whole family to the Specsavers Memorial Cup Court for a day of fun, including the Orchard Park Kids “Shoot Out” Challenge with prizes up for grabs. While kids compete, families can enjoy face painting, snacks and drinks, making it a perfect day out for everyone.


Arrival of the Cup

The Memorial Cup arrives in Kelowna with a ceremonial canoe landing, community parade, and formal welcome at Stuart Park. This free, family-friendly event celebrates tradition, remembrance, and the official start of the tournament.


Community Kickoff
Thursday, May 21 | 6:00–8:30 p.m. | Stuart Park

Keep the celebration going with live music, local food vendors, and entertainment for all ages. The Community Kickoff carries opening-day energy into the evening in the heart of downtown.

More than 200 local Grade 5-and-under players compete in a Memorial Cup–inspired tournament at Kelowna Memorial Arena, celebrating the next generation of hockey fans.


Fan Breakfast
Sunday, May 24 | 8:30 a.m. | Coast Capri

A community-led breakfast bringing fans together to connect, share stories, and celebrate the Memorial Cup. Open to all, with proceeds supporting local organizations.


Downtown Art Installations

Be Part of the 2026 Memorial Cup Story at Orchard Park

Join the excitement as the Memorial Cup arrives at the Specsavers Memorial Cup Court, featuring a pipe band procession, CHL alumni, and a special appearance by Rocky from the Kelowna Rockets. Celebrate the Memorial Cup while supporting the Kelowna Legion in an inspiring afternoon that brings together community, remembrance, and Canada’s iconic hockey tradition.
