Acrylic Landscapes - Classic & Contemporary - Monday 6:30 PM (Apr 7 - May 12)

Create a landscape painting using heavy body acrylic paint on canvas in a wide range of techniques in contemporary styles. Step by step demonstrations will be given throughout the painting process with a general focus on composition, color mixing and achieving depth. Students will also learn blending, layering and glazing techniques to achieve landscape elements, and loosen up with bold brushwork, texture medium and palette knife strokes for an abstracted, gestural style. SUPPLY LIST WILL BE EMAILED BEFORE CLASS START DATE. CANVAS SUPPLIED.
