The Kelowna Regional Transit System operates service throughout the Central Okanagan including Kelowna, Lake Country, West Kelowna, Westbank First Nation, Peachland and the Regional District of Central Okanagan. BC Transit continues to provide transportation services to support those still needing to get to work and make other essential trips. Enhanced measures have been implemented in response to COVID-19, and further measures may be implemented in the future. With rear-door boarding mandated until at least April 20, 2020, Kelowna Regional Transit customers who have a March and/or April pass should keep their pass(es) as they will be eligible for credit, available at Kelowna City Hall, toward a future transit pass once normal operations have resumed. Refunds will not be issued.

Buses in Kelowna are operated by First Group Inc on behalf of the funding partners. Funding for the Kelowna Regional Transit System is cost shared between the City of Kelowna, Regional District of Central Okanagan, District of Lake Country, City of West Kelowna, District of Peachland, Westbank First Nation and BC Transit. Decisions about fares, routes and service levels are made by Kelowna City Council, the Regional District Board, Peachland Council, West Kelowna Council, Westbank First Nation Council, and Lake Country Council, and are based on information provided by the Municipal Systems Program of BC Transit.
